Podium on 12h of Sebring!

At the 12 hours of Sebring International Raceway F1Cast Racing managed to finish the consecutive 3rd place in the GT1 class at the RaceDepartment LeMans Series. A tremendous achievement of the team after some difficult moments in the race.

The race started around 14:30 local time and Bram Beelen managed to keep the pole in the first stint to it’s first place. But endurance races are strategic races, and it looked as if the competition had a better strategy in the beginning of the race, so around second and third place the teams changed positions regulary during the first hours of the race. Vincent Staal puts the GT1 Lamborghini on pole!

Vincent Staal just has proven his strenght in the international endurance LeMans Series by qualifying on pole in the GT1 class at the track of Sebring International Raceway. The qualify session for the 12 hour race of this saturday, was a true thriller in the battle for pole between Michael Mueller and Staal. It seemed that Mueller had the benefit, but Staal managed to jump in front with just 15 minutes to go in the one hour quallification. With practical no time left, the two fast devils were unleached and with only 2 seconds after each other, Vincent Staal took pole with an impressive 1:52.956. Mueller was on pace and was just 0:00:029 short on Staal.

Vincent Staal joins the GT1 team

As the preperations for the second race in the RDLMS race at the historic Sebring International Raceway are on, F1Cast Racing announced a third driver for their LeMans GT1 endurance team. Vincent Staal will join Bram Beelen and Maurice Zondag from this race on in their battle for the championship in this 4th season of RaceDepartment’s Le Mans series this year. F1Cast Racing goes Le Mans style!

F1Cast Racing will be joining the multiple hours races of the 4th season of the RaceDepartment Le Mans series! The races differ from 6 to 24 hours of non-stop online racing! No simulation here, these times are real! Both well known and succesful simracers Bram Beelen and Maurice Zondag will
drive the Lamborghini Murcielago in the GT1 class, the fastest GTs of the field. A well known car for Beelen, as he has  won the SRVN GT1 Championship ‘Schumacher-style’ last year at SRVN.   The two drivers have proven to be succesful in the past aswell as a team, since they also were teammates in a one time event at the 6 hours of Sebring, where they dominated the race and finished first, lapping the rest of the field at least once.
